The first thing that strikes you about Eva’s desings is the way in which the natural world is structured in her creations. Easy symmetries are eschewed and replaced by an architectural flair that infuses each piece with a whiff of the sacred. Eva uses stones that have hardly been worked; she binds them using brass pieces, many of which are cast from the imprints of objects she has found – coral, rock chips, even decayed leaves. (more)
